Moja glava je zapolnjena. Ko se poskušam spomniti Afrike, se spomnim samo enega velikega drevesa. Tudi če se še tako trudim in osredotočim, se ne spomnim. Če bi zdaj šel v Afriko, bi razmišljal, kdo je moj oče in moja mama in zakaj me je zapustila. To vem, ker ni mogla skrbeti zame. Mogoče je en mesec skrbela zame. Tam mi je bilo ime Kofi Anim. Zakaj plešem ... Da hitreje čas mine. Ker me zanima, kako se v Afriki pleše. Zato ker se mogoče v telesu skriva en del, ki ga ne poznam in ne vem, kaj je. In ko plešem, od nekod pridejo gibi in ne vem od kod.
My head is full. When I try to remember Africa, all that comes to mind is a giant tree. No matter how hard I try, I cannot remember. If I went to Africa now, I would wonder who my parents are and why my mother left me. But I already know that: because she couldn’t take care of me. Maybe she took care of me for a month. There, my name was Kofi Anim. Why do I dance … To make the time pass quicker. Because I’m interested in how people in Africa dance. Because maybe there is a part of me hidden, and I don’t know what it is. And when I dance, movements come by themselves, from some place unknown.

Najprej sem improviziral na klavirju. Nato sem skomponiral skladbo. Potem sem jo še enkrat zaigral. In na koncu še odplesal. Kateri sem pravi jaz?
I improvised first on the piano. Then I composed a song. Then I played it again. And in the end, I danced. Which one is my real me?

The creature has very long fingers with which to express itself. He/She’s been thinking a lot lately because he’d like to talk. Since he/she can’t find the words in his/her mind, he goes to look for them in a karst cave.

Andrea K. Schlehwein in kolektiv NETZWERK AKS v predstavi # shivering iz serije AKUMULACIJA raziskujejo kompleksna, dinamična stanja vznemirjenja, ki so osnova za pojav drhtenja in katerih osrednja točka izvora je na eni strani v notranjosti telesa, na ravni mišic, kosti in sklepov, na drugi strani pa v notranjem čustvenem prostoru, na ravni spominov, občutij in različnih, neopredeljenih sprožilnih točk.
Prostor v notranjosti je opredeljen kot anatomsko locirano središče za impulze, iz katerega se po telesu sproščajo reakcije in frekvence, ki sprejemajo impulze. Akumulacija notranjih stanj proizvede valujoče, koreografirane sekvence spreminjajoče se gostote, kot plima in oseka, ki zapisuje ples v sodelovanju in konfrontaciji obeh nastopajočih znotraj prostora akcije, odra. Z raziskovalnim področjem predstave #shivering je koreografinja Andrea K. Schlehwein v svoj podpis integrirala plesno tehniko, ki dosledno spoštuje načelo »form follows function« kot zanimivo izhodišče za koreografsko raziskovanje.
In #shivering from the ACCUMULATION series, Andrea K. Schlehwein and the NETZWERK AKS collective explore the complex, dynamic states of agitation which form the basis of the phenomenon of trembling and have their central point of origin, on the one hand, inside the body, at the level of muscles, bones and joints, and on the other hand in the emotional inner space, at the level of memories, feelings and various indefinable trigger points.
A place on the inside is defined as an anatomically located, impulse-giving centre from which impulse-receiving reactions and frequencies are released throughout the body. The accumulation of internal states brings forth wave-like, choreographed sequences of varying density, an ebb and flow that outlines the dance in togetherness and confrontation of the two performers within the action space, the stage. With the research field #shivering, choreographer AKS integrates into her signature a dance technique which consistently respects the principle of “form follows function” as an intriguing starting point for choreographic exploration.

Stojim gola pred svojo omaro. Izbiram med vsemi starimi in novimi oblačili in iščem lupinico, ki bo zakrila moje telo, mehko in ranljivo. Ali nas obleke razlikujejo med sabo, če jih uporabljamo z istim namenom? Kako lahko kos oblačila naredi telo bolj seksi, kot je samo golo telo? Kaj mi obleke dovolijo, česar is gola ne upam, če sploh kaj? Več je najboljše!
I stand in front of my closet, naked. I am choosing from all of my new and old clothes, looking for a shell to cover up my soft and vulnerable body. Do clothes really distinguish us from each other if we use them with the same purpose? How can a piece of clothing make a body more sexy than a naked body itself? Do clothes allow me something that my naked body does not? More is best!

Milnica je kolaž zdrsljivih vtisov, vzdušij in občutij. Avtorski solo se poigrava z različnimi načini bivanja: obstankom, padcem, drsenjem in opazovanjem. Kratki zvočno-gibalni izseki spominjajo na motno, izmuzljivo in le s težavo oprijemljivo sedanjost, v kateri se človek včasih znajde, včasih pa se ne. Včasih nam diši, včasih pa samo drsi.
Soap is a collage of elusive impressions, atmospheres and feelings. In this solo, the author plays with various types of being: existence, downfall, sliding and observation. Short sound-movement clips resemble the cloudy and elusive present that is hard to grasp. A person sometimes finds his way in this present and sometimes he doesn’t. Sometimes we can smell it, sometimes it only slips by.
