POŠLJI POSNETEK SVOJE KOREOGRAFIJE NA TEMO »NOVE REALNOSTI« IN SODELUJ NA FESTIVALU PLESNIH PERSPEKTIV U[KREP] 2020 / SUBMIT A RECORDING OF YOUR CHOREOGRAPHY ON THE SUBJECT OF “NEW REALITY” AND TAKE PART AT THE 2020 UKREP – FESTIVAL OF DANCE PERSPECTIVES

Plesni Teater Ljubljana v sodelovanju z Alma Mater Europaea – Akademijo za ples in festivalom Svetlobna Gverila v letu 2020 pripravlja prvi sklop festivala plesnih perspektiv UKREP ter glede na »novo realnost« plesnega ustvarjanja in uprizarjanja v času karantene v ta namen poziva vse domače in tuje ustvarjalce in ustvarjalke, ljubitelje in ljubiteljice plesa v Sloveniji, da ustvarijo kratko koreografijo, se posnamejo in sodelujejo na festivalu, ki bo potekal med 12. in 15. junijem 2020.

Kot vsebinsko izhodišče je postavljena »nova realnost«:

• Kaj zate predstavlja »novo realnost« tako na področju družbe kot intime?

• Kako se z njo spopadaš / kaj napoveduješ?

• Kakšno novo logiko »stanja stvari« lahko ubereš?

• V kaj vse se lahko preleviš / kam prestaviš?

• Kaj vse je (še) lahko film, kaj vse ples in – kje se skriva humor?

PTL - Dance Theatre Ljubljana, in cooperation with Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy and festival Lighting Guerrilla, is organizing the first set of UKREP (Taking Measures), Festival of Dance Perspectives. In view of a “new reality” of dance creation and performance during the quarantine, we invite all domestic and foreign creators, dance and film enthusiasts in Slovenia to create short choreographies, record themselves and take part in the festival, which will take place between June 12 and 15, 2020.

The conceptual starting point for the short choreography should be “new reality”:

• What constitutes a “new reality” for you, both in society and intimately?

• How do you cope with it / What do you predict?

• What new logic of “the state of affairs” can you adopt?

• What can you turn yourself into? Where can you relocate?

• What else can be a movie, what else can be a dance – and where does humour lie?

V ta namen prvič odpiramo poziv in vabimo vse – režiserje, koreografe, plesalce, snemalce, producente in vse druge avtorje, ki vas plesno-gibalni izraz navdihuje in ki ste na tem področju aktivni – da v času COVID-19 samo-izolacije svoj solo ustvarite, izvedete in se posnamete ter nam pošljete svoj kratki video film!

Pogoji sodelovanja:

• Ključna vsebina: plesno-gibalni izraz

• CV avtorja s priloženo fotografijo v dobri resoluciji

• Koncept oz. vsebina

• Dolžina posnetka (lahko je posnet s telefonom) do 5 minut

• Filmček mora biti nov – posnet od marca do junija 2020

• Video film mora biti posnet v HD ločljivosti

Za prijavo je dovolj povezava (Vimeo ali YouTube) in geslo. Video filmčke prijavite na e-naslov info@ptl-lj.si s pripisom »UKREP 2020 – NOVA REALNOST«. Rok za prijavo posnetkov je 1. junij 2020.

To this end, we are opening the call for the first time and invite everyone – directors, choreographers, dancers, cinematographers, producers and all other domestic and foreign authors who are inspired by the dance movement expression and are active in this field - that during the COVID-19 self-isolation they create and perform their solo and film it and submit their own short video film!

Terms of cooperation:

• Key subject: dance and movement expression

• CV of the author with a hi res photo attached

• Concept/content

• Video length (phone recording allowed): up to 5 minutes

• The film must be new: recorded between March and June 2020

• The video film must be recorded in HD

A YouTube or Vimeo link and password are sufficient. Submit your short recordings to info@ptl-lj.si with the subject “UKREP 2020 – NEW REALITY”. The submission deadline is June 1st, 2020.

You will be notified of the selection no later than June 5, 2020. Should the ban on the use of the hall be still in force, the selected choreographies will be performed at external locations. If also this will not be allowed, videos of submitted choreographies, if permitted, will be screened at the UKREP Festival.

Plesni Teater Ljubljana will give the authors of the selected choreographies a symbolic fee and enable them to participate in international workshops as part of the festival UKREP free of charge.

All submitted recordings will also have the opportunity to become a part of the Dance Film Archive which PTL – Dance Theatre Ljubljana is setting up as a part of its Creative School FILM:CONTEMPORARY DANCE!.

O izboru boste obveščeni najkasneje do 5. junija 2020. V kolikor bo še vedno veljala prepoved uporabe dvorane, boste zbrane sole izvedli na zunanjih lokacijah. Če tudi to ne bo dovoljeno, bodo na festivalu UKREP, če bo le dovoljeno, na platnu predvajani poslani video posnetki vaših koreografij.

Plesni Teater Ljubljana bo izbrane koreografije simbolično honoriral in ustvarjalcem omogočil brezplačno udeležbo na mednarodnih delavnicah v okviru festivala UKREP.

Vsi poslani posnetki bodo imeli možnost postati tudi del plesno-filmskega arhiva, ki ga v okviru svoje Kreativne šole FILM:SODOBNI PLES! pripravlja Plesni Teater Ljubljana.
