O predstavi
About the performance
»Am I normal, or am I crazy? That is the question.« Veronika Valdés
Sometimes I don’t know what I’m writing. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m thinking. Sometimes I don’t know what I understand. Sometimes I don’t know what annoys me. Cages annoy me, pills annoy me. It annoys me that if want to get of the cage, you have to take your pills. Who is crazier – the one who is locked in a cage or the one who is free and acts like an animal? Sometimes I think I’m crazy. Sometimes I think we all are. But only sometimes. Because sometimes I remember the cages. I don’t know what it’s like to be normal, and I don’t know what it’s like to be crazy either. I don’t know how to understand this, nor do I know how to accept it. Sometimes I am normal and sometimes I’m a little crazy. But only sometimes. Sometimes I like to dance (wildly). But not only sometimes.
normal [ˈnɔː.məl] adj. compliant with certain given, generally applicable laws: natural, correct // compliant with established, recognized rules or requirements // acting, behaving in accordance with established, accepted rules, habits
crazy [ˈkreɪzi] adj. informal mentally ill: crazy person; to be crazy / to act crazy / stupid, unwise // [usually in predicative use] very upset due to a strong emotion: he’s all crazy from despair, joy, sadness // crazy anger; he was overwhelmed by crazy joy / he enjoyed in a crazy dance …
I'm a bit crazy about tea, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about horses, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about wheels, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about dogs, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about childhood, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about happiness, but only within normal limits.
I'm a bit crazy about birds, but only within normal limits.
»Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness.« Alejandro Jodorowsky
